About Me

In her work, award-winning filmmaker and visual artist Roxy Morris explores liminality, identity, memory, and queerness through traditional and experimental frameworks.
Roxy resides in LA and specializes in cinematography and digital media, synthesizing unconventional technical skill and social sciences to create holistic narratives about marginalized topics. She is also an alumna of UCLA's Film, Television, and Digital Media program (B.A.).

Roxy was awarded "Best International Filmmaker" and "Best Influencer" at esteemed, internationally recognized student film festivals (Adelaide, All-American respectively). She was recognized as "Ones to Watch: Filmmakers Under 20" at the Asian American International Film Festival two years in a row and "Best Direction" by Lee Isaac Chung (MINARI, TWISTERS) at the SCREEN Student Film Festival alongside her co-directors.
Roxy is also a professional editor (clientele, i.e., TEDx, @PaulithePSM), a strong advocate for community-based arts programming, and enjoys jasmine tea and dog parks.
